How Governor AbdulRazaq demolished my office - Ex-Gov Ahmed's Aide

The Special Adviser on Recreation to the former Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, Alhaji Lamidi Akanbi popularly referred to as Lamak has raised alarm over how Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq demolished his office located at Agbadam Area, Ilorin Kwara State saying the action was carried out due to political motive.

In a statement exclusively obtained by The Informant247, the former SA said, the building was demolished because it serves as a meeting point for the loyalists of Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki.

“Governor AbdulRahaman AbdulRasaq demolished my Blockmaking and Architectural office located at Agba Dam Area, Ilorin today. The only reason was that I am using the office as a meeting point and political joint for the Sarakite loyalists.”

Recall that the Informant247 has earlier reported how the Kwara State Physical Planning Authority (KPPA) commenced massive demolition of illegal structures across the state.

Akanbi who described the office as his only means of livelihood said he suffered the humiliation due to his refusal to cooperate with the current administration.

“In 2020, Senator Ajadi invited me that I should schedule a meeting of All former SSA & SA which I turned down. Since then they have been threatening me. Today Friday 16th April 2021 my office was demolished.

“My only source of livelihood was destroyed: Items destroyed are my Operational Office, Blocks Making Machine, Moulding Plastics for Interlocking stones, Kerbs, Chairs & Table.”
