Honourable Gadaff, Kwara CP harp on measures to curb social vices among youths

Honourable Suleiman Lekan Gadaff, a distinguished youth politician and former Special Assistant on Youth Empowerment to Kwara State Governor has harped on the significance of an harmonious relationship within the state.

Gadaff, made the call during a meeting with Kwara Commissioner of Police, Ebunoluwa Rotimi Adelesi on Friday.

The meeting was hinged on devising effective strategies to mobilize grassroots efforts against crimes and social vices prevalent among the youth population in Kwara State.

With concerns on the high rate of  youth-involved crimes and social misconduct in the state, the meeting recognized the importance of addressing the issues promptly and underscored the need for collaborative efforts between the government, law enforcement agencies, and the community at large.

CP Ebunoluwa Adelesi in her remarks emphasized the significance of grassroots mobilization in curbing the surge of criminal activities while also highlighting the essence of empowering communities to take charge of their security.

She further suggested the idea of security  symposiums and sensitization programs specifically aimed at the youth population.

On his part, Gadaff commended the efforts of the Kwara State Police Command in their relentless pursuit of ensuring safety and security across the state.

He also pledged his full support of the government in any endeavor geared towards promoting peace and harmony within the state,
