The Nigeria Home-based Super Eagles have intensified training ahead of their friendly match against Costa Rica in San Jose.
One of their training sessions which held at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba Ibadan on Tuesday saw a total of the 18 invited players participated in the activities spearheaded by their Head Coach, Salisu Yusuf.
The 18 players according to reports team up with the selected Under 23 players that defeated Tanzania at the weekend for the friendly encounter.
It would be recalled that 15 players resumed training on Monday while the remaining 3 players complete the travelling party billed for Thursday this week.
The match is expected to serve as a preparation for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup for the North American side will hold at San Jose on November 10.
While it was earlier billed for the main Super Eagles, the busy schedules of the international players has placed the mandate of the game on the local lads who will now prosecute the match
