Nigeria needs a leader capable of solving its problems: Atiku The Informant247

History will judge you, if right people are not elected, Atiku tells voters

A one time Vice President and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential aspirant, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has said that the blame for choosing wrong leader would be put on the people who vote.

He said that voting the right leader to power next year should be the motives of the electorates, and therefore the electorates would be blamed if the contrary becomes the case.

He made this revelation while addressing stakeholders of the PDP in Calabar, ahead of the May 28 2022 primaries of the party.

He said, “History will judge the electorate if we fail to elect the right people to positions of power.

“I am ready, qualified, available and have the right credentials which reasons I have offered myself to intervene in the country’s situation.”

The former vice president said that the national ruling party APC had failed woefully and announced his readiness and capacity to fix the country’s issues.

“The government of President (Muhammadu) Buhari has completely disappointed Nigerians in the area of security. The northern part of the country is the worst hit. The situation should no longer continue.”

He affirmed that the PDP can no longer stand being an opposition, adding that the party should be prepared to reclaim Cross River and the country.

He said he would work with the national assembly to fix many national issues and give more powers to the state and local governments.
