A famous online media platform in Kwara State, Just Event Online has told Barrister Abdulkareem Alabi, an aide to the Senator-Elect for Kwara Central, Mallam Saliu Mustapha to retract the statement he made about the media organization.
This came as a reaction to a “negative remark” made by Alabi against the media house.
Just Event had published a court order that granted the prayers of the Kwara Central Senatorial candidate on the platform of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Aiyelabegan Kayode Abdul to inspect, scan and make Photocopies of the ballot papers and other electoral materials which were used during the February 25 National Assembly Elections.
The aide to the Senator elect however described the media’s work as “brainless”.
Abdul Kareem Alabi made this negative remark about the online media institution on a WhatsApp platform ”Kwara Commission” on Wednesday, March 30.
The online media organization expressed it’
s disappointment over the outburst of the Senator elect’s aide, saying that it’s not expected of a legal practitioner and and an aide to a lawmaker-to-be to challenge the media profession in that manner.
It charged the Senator elect’s aide, Abdulkareem to withdraw his statement or be charged further.
