Hisba apprehends 6 alcohol sellers, 25 sexual workers in Jigawa

Hisba Command in Jigawa State has apprehended twenty-five (25) prostitutes in Kazaure local government.

Muhammad Sale Korau, the spokesperson of the Hisba Command, made this revelation in a statement made available to newsmen.

The mouthpiece of the command revealed that the state Hisba commandant championed the operation and effected in arrest of thirty-one persons in Kazaure Local Government.

He also said among the arrested were, 6 men and 25 prostitutes for alleged sale of alcohol at Gada in Kazaure.

The command, had therefore reaffirmed its readiness to continue to combat all social vices in the state.

He revealed that the suspects were handed over to the police officers for necessary investigation.
