‘His heart is with the people’ — Habib celebrates Prof Wale Sulaiman’s birthday
The Chairman of Hafopek Global Nigeria Limited, Olanipekun Ola Habib, has celebrated renowned neurosurgeon and political leader, Professor Wale Sulaiman, on his birthday, describing him as a true leader whose heart remains firmly with the people and whose passion is centred on their welfare, development and a better future for Kwara.
In a goodwill message, Habib hailed Prof. Sulaiman’s remarkable contributions to healthcare, education and human development, describing him as a man whose achievements, both in Nigeria and internationally, have not disconnected him from his roots in Ajase-Ipo, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State.
He said the professor’s continued connection with the people reflects the kind of leadership that puts service above personal interest.
Habib particularly commended Prof. Sulaiman’s role as Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun (FUHSI), Osun State, saying his wealth of experience, intellectual capacity and exposure have positioned him to make meaningful contributions to institutional and human development.
He described these qualities as important attributes for anyone seeking to provide purposeful leadership in Kwara.
“Professor Wale Sulaiman is a true leader whose heart is with the people. Despite his remarkable achievements and international exposure, he remains deeply connected to his roots and genuinely concerned about the progress and wellbeing of our people. Kwara needs leaders who understand the demands of modern governance, have the competence to deliver and are genuinely committed to the people,” Habib said.
He prayed for Prof. Sulaiman’s continued good health, wisdom and strength, while expressing confidence that the professor still has greater roles to play in the development of Kwara and Nigeria.
Habib described him as an accomplished son of Ajase-Ipo whose life of service, compassion and commitment to human development continues to inspire many, saying his birthday provides another opportunity to celebrate a leader whose greatest ambition remains a better future for the people.
