Gunmen attack Abuja community, abduct civil servant near military camp
Suspected gunmen on Thursday, stormed a house situated 200 metres close to a military base in Pambara, Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, and abducted one Aondo Ver, a director in the Federal Housing Authority.
According to reports, the bandits, who stormed the house around 12:30 am on Thursday, were said to have gained access through the fence.
As of the time of filing this report, the Army had yet to comment on the incident.
This is coming days after gunmen broke into a home in the Guita community, Chikakore, Kubwa, Bwari Area Council of the FCT and kidnapped two sisters.
The Informant247 reports that Kidnapping, which was previously restricted to the North-West, has, in recent months, spread to many states and the FCT.
