- Possess the National Identification Number (NIN).

- Provide essential breeder documents like birth certificates and local government certificates of indigeneship.
Application Process:
- Access the Online Portal: Visit https://passport.immigration.gov.ng/ and input your NIN. The system will autofill your data from the National Identity Management Commission.
- Complete Data Fields: Fill in all necessary data fields accurately and completely.
- Document Submission: Securely upload passport photos and required breeder documents on the platform.
- Immigration Office Visit: Go to an immigration office for biometric capture, ensuring physical verification and identity confirmation.
- Passport Collection: Expect your passport to be ready for collection within two weeks, marking the successful completion of the application process.
For passport renewals, applicants must have their old passport number readily available for uploading during the application. Following these steps meticulously will facilitate an easy and efficient passport application process, as stated by the ministry.
