Graham Potter gives update on Thiago Silva injury

Graham Potter has revealed the timeline for Thiago Silva’s injury ahead of Chelsea’s league game against Leeds United.

The 38-year-old veteran centre-back damaged knee ligaments during last weekend’s 2-0 defeat at London rivals Tottenham.

“Thiago will be out around six weeks” said the Coach in the press conference ahead of Leed’s game.

The Blues play host to another struggling side Leeds at Stamford Bridge in what is being billed as a must-win fixture for both sides.

While Chelsea will like to salvage their season from further damage, Leeds United have an ultimate bid to survive relegation.

Chelsea currently sit 10th on the log with 31 points and Leeds are 17th with just 22 points
