The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has paid a visit to the Nigeria’s president elect Senator Bola Tinubu at the Defence House in Abuja.
Wike had a meeting with the president elect after he (Tinubu) observed Jum’aat prayer at the Aso Rock mosque.
Wike said politics was over and therefore called on Nigerian citizens to support Tinubu’s government.
In the company of Wike was the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde.
The Informant247 earlier reported that Tinubu on Friday April 28 observed Jum’aat prayer at the presidential villa with President Muhammadu Buhari.
With Tinubu were the Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila, the Governor of Kano State Abdullahi Ganduje and a few security and personal aides of the president elect.
The Jum’aat prayer was led by the Chief Imam of the State House Mosque, Ustadh Abdul-Wahid Suleiman.
Other dignitaries who joined Buhari to observe the congregational prayer were the House Majority Leader, Alhassan Ado Doguwa; National Security Adviser, retired Major General Babagana Munguno; Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami; and Director General, National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Ahmed Rufai Abubakar among others.
The Informant247 understands that Tinubu is expected to take over the mantle of leadership on May 29.
