Gov. AbdulRazaq leads delegation to TCN over rural electrification
Kwara state Governor, Alhaji AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in company of Senator representing Kwara North, Sen. Sadiq Umar, Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development, Hajia Aisha Ahman Pategi, Alh. Yinka Aluko, Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties and other top government functionaries met the Managing Director, Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Usman Gur Mohammed to work out practicable modalities for rural electrification and power transmission to Kwara.
The Governor deliberately included Sen. Umar Sadiq to strike a pact on rural electrification project in Kwara North.
The state government had in conjunction with Ministry of Energy had earlier aborted a decade old power stalemate suffered by the people.
The AbdulRazaq-led delegation, stressed his administration’s commitment to provide stable power supply to all parts of the state and to connect other communities across the state to the national grid.
