Gobir Foundation commences renovation of Okesuna School
A week after adoption, The Gobir Foundation has kick off the renovation of Okesuna Primary School reputed to be the first basic school in the state.
Speaking at the commencement of renovations of the School on Wednesday 4th March, 2020. The Director of Strategy and Communication of the Gobir Organization Foundation Mr. Charles Olufemi Folayan disclosed that the Foundation is implementing the renovation work in phases, considering the use of the facility by the students who are on session.
Members of Okesuna community also commended the effort of the foundation for prompt action on the project, especially the repair of the School fence for security purposes and the Borehole which they said would be of advantage not only to the students but the host community as well.
Recall that the founder of organization, Waziri Yakub Gobir while speaking at the event of adoption of the school on Thursday 27th of February declosed that the foundation has set aside N100 million for development of the school over the next five years.
