Fury calls Anthony Joshua ‘coward’ over failure to sign Boxing contract

Tyson Fury has taken a jibe on Anthony Joshua over his failure to complete his call for an all-British fight he had recently considered.

Fury had called on Joshua for a fight early September and the latter was expected to sign a contract to validate the bout before 5pm Monday deadline set by Fury.

The Nigerian -British boxer on Sunday had disclosed that he will sign the contract to fight Fury after the WBC champion issued an ultimatum that if they are to put together their all-British heavyweight battle this year.

“It’s official. D Day has come and gone. It’s gone past 5pm Monday, no contract has been signed. It’s officially over for Joshua. He’s now out in the cold with the wolfpack. Forget about it. Idiot. Coward!” He posted.

He goes on to say: “I always knew you didn’t have the minerals to fight the Gypsy King. Good luck with your career, and your life.” said Fury who had said he would walk off the deal if the deadline was not respected.

The all-British fight was in the first place affected by the loss of Joshua to Oleksander Usyk on two Boxing events. He was expected to have a win against the Ukrainian before he could fight Fury for the highest belt.

Earlier on Monday, Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn said that all plans were going on to engender the bout which has for long dominated the front banner of discussion
