Funke Akindele deletes everything politics-related after defeat at gov’ship poll

The popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has deleted politics-related posts on her social media page.

This came following her defeat in the just concluded governorship election which took place in the state on Saturday March 18.

Funke Akindele who’s the deputy governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) lost the governorship elections.

Akindele lost her polling unit to the incumbent Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Akindele, got 19 votes in her polling unit – (019, Ita Aro Square, Àga/Ijimu ward in Ikorodu).

Sanwo-Olu had 77 votes.

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party, LP polled 3 votes, while Funsho Doherty of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) secured 2 votes.

She went to her Instagram page and deleted anything related to politics from her page.
