Fuji Music maestro, Wasiu Ayinde has joined the list of admirers of Lionel Messi by specially singing a song to congratulate the seven time Ballon D’or winner for leading Argentina to their world Cup glory.
In a video that went viral on Sunday night, Ayinde, who was thrilling fans at a show took out his time to hail Messi for clinching the trophy.
It was a crowning moment for Messi whose cabinet, which includes all available major titles of both international and club side levels lacks only the mundial until the Sunday’s achievement.
Argentina defeated France 4-2 on penalties after playing out a 3-3 draw throughout the regulation time and extra time.
Messi’s heroic performance also see him winning the golden ball award( most valuable player of the tournament for the second time in his career having won it at the Brazil 2014 World Cup.
Argentina has now won the world cup for the third time, first in 1978, second in 1986 and now in 2022.
