The Organised Labour has vowed to proceed with its nationwide strike scheduled for Wednesday, over the removal of petroleum subsidy.
The unions, comprising the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), the Trade Union Congress (TUC), made this known after a meeting with government representatives at the presidential villa on Monday, while it expressed doubt regarding the ability of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to effectively control inflation and gasoline prices due to the unification of the exchange rate.
