Seven persons, who included five children, have been recovered dead in a fire incident which occurred in the Russian republic of Bashkortostan.
The government officials have revealed that team of rescue workers recovered the bodies while extinguishing the inferno in one of two flats in a small house.
Two children were rescued in the fire outbreak, which occurred in a village close to the town of Sterlitamak, and which is about 1,200 kilometres southeast of the capital Moscow.
The Bashkortostan civil protection agency disclosed that a woman, a man and five boys lost their lives in the fire incident.
The household of the couple included their three children and four adopted children.
The surviving twins were the children of the couple.
Initial investigations reported that the night-time inferno was triggered by a short circuit.
