The Canadian High Commission building in Nigeria was engulfed in flames on Monday.
FCT police spokesperson Istifanus Bako confirmed the development to journalists that the Canadian embassy situated on Diplomatic Drive in the Central Business District was on fire for several minutes.
Istifanus added that the situation has been successfully controlled.
While the cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed, reports say the police and other security agencies are working to unravel the cause of the incident.
Media reports also claimed that no casualty or injury has been recorded so far.
