The famous Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi has been reported dead. The entertainment industry was thrown into mourning following the death of Afolabi who’s well known by lovers of Yoruba films.

The passing of the talented actor was announced through the Instagram handle of his colleague in the entertainment industry, Odunlade Adekola — who’s also a famous and respected actor.

The respected movie superstar posted the image of the late Yoruba entertainer using the caption, “Jesus Christ, we lost Murphy.’
Afolabi hailed from Osogbo, the capital of Osun State. The popular movie actor who was borne on May 5 gave up the ghost at the age of 49.

Afolabi was a product of The Polytechnic, Iree, Osun State where he read movie production, mass communications and Theatre Arts.
He finished from the Osun State owned tertiary institution in 2001.
