Ex-student leader Tajudeen Habeeb joins APC

A former chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, Kwara Axis, Tajudeen Habeeb popularly called Tallest, has announced his decision to join the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

The Ilorin-born personality, in a new year message made available to The Informant247 on Wednesday, said the decision takes effect immediately.

The former NANS chairman has been a committed advocate for personality-driven politics, supporting candidates from various parties who share my vision for a better Kwara and Nigeria for Nearly two decades.

However, after a deep and thorough reflection on the current state of the nation, he noted that he came to realize that the time has come for him to take a more active role in shaping the future of Kwara and the country.

He said “As we usher in the year 2025, I am excited to share with you a significant development in my political journey”.

“It is with this sense of purpose that I am proud to announce my decision to join the All Progressive Congress (APC) under the able and capable leadership of HE Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, effective immediately”.

“My decision to join the APC is driven by my desire to contribute meaningfully to the development of my state and the nation at large. I am drawn to the party’s commitment to democracy and good governance. I am excited about the prospect of working with like-minded individuals who share my passion for creating a better Kwara and Nigeria.

“As I embark on this new chapter in my political journey, I am mindful of the challenges that lie ahead. I am committed to upholding the principles and ideals of the APC, and I look forward to working tirelessly to promote the party’s goals and objectives.

“As I understand that my membership is subjected to party’s constitution and guidelines, I shall in due course be at my political ward (Adewole) to be registered as a member of the party.

He sought the understanding and support of the people as henbark on this important journey, saying it’s all about developmental politics and “we shall strive to make it a reality”.

“As I make this official, let us work together towards creating a brighter future for Nigeria,” he concluded.
