The President of Dollyp Sports Academy, Ahmed Dolapo Yusuf has disclosed that no fewer than five players were scouted from the scouting tournament organised by the team recently.

“Five players were picked from the scouting programme that we held last week for a possible signing in June.
Noting that the programme attracted huge number of players, he stated that their selection was based on the needs and preferences of the visiting scouts.
“Not that other players are not good but the ones selected were based on what the agents and clubs need.
Ahmed stressed that Dollyp Sports Academy will continue to provide opportunity for players, noting the presence of an official of Sporting Gijon,a spanish club at the press conference as another effort to bridge the gap between Nigerian talents and Europe.
“It’s not going to be a one stop show. There are many other programmes coming. Presently an official of Sporting Gijon is with us here on the same mission.
“We are trying to collaborate with them and he has come to check some of our players. We are also planning for another programme in April, so we are not going to stop.
He explained that the team was created four years ago and have been able to create significant impact within the society.
