Rangers International Football Club, usually known as Enugu Rangers, is a Nigerian professional affiliation football club. They are situated in Enugu and play their home games at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
Enugu Rangers are one of the three most seasoned clubs in Nigeria since their development in 1970, the other two being Bendel Insurance and Kano Pillars. The Enugu Rangers players won the NPL five times and the cup five times at their peak.
They are the main Nigerian club never to have been relegated from the Nigeria Premier League. The team is often dubbed the “The Flying Antelopes” as the club badge depicts an antelope in flight.

While other football clubs have collapsed or been obliterated by catastrophic events like typhoons and cyclones starting around 1970, the club has persevered through everything since its establishment. It is Nigeria football’s just club to have stayed above water more than 42 years of severe circumstances.
Enugu Rangers were established in 1970 and won a broadly coordinated competition which permitted them to meet all requirements for the 1971 African Cup of Champions Clubs. Rangers’ first global competition finished in shame in the quarterfinal round, losing 0-3 in total to ASEC Mimosas.
They nearly made moment progress in the cup too, making the last of the main Nigerian FA Cup in 1971, however losing 2-1 to Shooting Stars F.C.
