Emir of Ilorin supports victims of rainstorm
The Emir of Ilorin, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari has provided succour to victims of Saturday’s rainstorm in the city, which resulted in the loss of many buildings and other personal belongings of residents.
The monarch, after inspecting 400 bundles of newly purchased roofing sheets on Monday, handed it over to the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union IEDPU and Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) for distribution.
The Emir urged the two indigenous associations to fairly distribute the roofing sheets to the poor people.
