The Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative (BBYDI) is calling for volunteers to oversee its new initiative, YVoteNaija, a civic engagement platform aimed at increasing citizens’ participation in Nigeria’s electoral process, a statement issued by the group director, Olasupo Abideen, over the weekend said.
The initiative also seeks to promote collective responsibility among Nigerians.
According to the statement, volunteers who are interested in joining the initiative must be a Nigerian, and believe in the ‘Nigerian’ project.
It pointed that applicants must be eighteen years and above, tech savvy, and familiar with the basics of graphic designing, web management and social media management
The statement added, “YVoteNaija is calling for volunteers who are committed to increasing voters’ participation in elections as well as the reform of the Nigeria’s electoral law.
“Volunteers must be within the ages of 18 years and above; must be a Nigerian living in Nigeria or in the diaspora; must be willing to commit their time, skills and creativity to achieve the objectives of the project.
