No fewer than 13,000 have been reportedly killed in the Gaza Strip by Israel’s attack and shellings since the war began on October 7.
The Hamas government said on Sunday that more than 5,500 children were among the dead, alongside 3,500 women, with 30,000 more people wounded.
Meanwhile, its health ministry has previously said it can no longer give exact tolls as intense fighting has prevented bodies from being recovered.
It would be recalled that Palestinian rebel Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel on October 7 and killed at least 1,200 people, according to Israeli officials.
Although the call for ceasfire has been consistently espoused by many countries of the world, but it appears that the war may not be ending soon with no commitment to a truce from both ends
