David Beckham professes love for Lionel Messi
David Beckham has revealed that he takes so much delight watching Lionel Messi.
Speaking to ESPN, the former Manchester United player said the Argentina Captain is a good father to his child.
The Argentina captain led his team all the way to 2022 World Cup success back in November.
“It has to be Messi. I love Leo for many different reasons,” Beckham told ESPN Argentina.
“I love him because he’s a great father. I love him because he’s a great personality, a character.
“He’s a great person. But I think what everybody loves about him is the way he plays the game.
“He plays the game with passion. He plays the game just free the way he plays. And I think this past World Cup again.
“I think the way he played for his team, for his country and to win that World Cup was an incredible moment for him. And I love watching players like him.
Messi’s future at PSG is still hanging in the balance as his current deal runs until the end of June and the team is yet to announce his contract extension, thus triggering a scenario that may be up for exploration by other clubs
