Dani Alves has hired the services of Cristobal Martell to defend him in his continued fight to defend himself against the allegations of sexual assault.
It would be recalled that the Brazilian right-back was arrested last week after being accused of allegedly sexually abusing a woman at a Barcelona nightclub on December 30.
The Lawyer is reputed to have handled cases involving Lionel Messi and other notable clients.
Famous for his ability to reach out-of-court settlements, Martel is also reputed for reaching an agreement with Justice after the Barcelona was convicted of a tax offense in the signing of Neymar, while former presidents Sandro Rosell and Josep Maria Bartomeu were declared not guilty in the case.
As per Alves’ case he will be assisted by the player’s current attorney, Miraida Puente Wilson, who assisted him in his statement last Friday.
According to Marca news, they are already in charge of presenting the appeal against Alves’ temporary custody.
