Court reinstates embattled Plateau Assembly Speaker, Nuhu Abok
The Plateau State House of Assembly on Monday April 3, 2023 restated Nuhu Abok as the Speaker.
The Informant247 gathered that the speaker was reinstated by a Plateau High Court led by Justice M. L Musa.
The Informant247 recalls that the embattled speaker was removed by the state assembly in October 2021.
The presiding judge Musa held that the removal was not legal and therefore would not stand.
The Court also awarded N1.5 million as the cost of appearance against the defenders.
It also awarded N138,000 as the cost of filing the matter against them.
