Comedian Bovi banned from United States
Popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Bovi Ugboma, who’s well known as Bovi has announced that he has been prohibited from moving into the United States following a clash with a visa-issuing officer.
The comedian made this revelation on Tuesday while reacting to questions originating from his fans after a Question and Answer engagement took place on his Instagram page.
A fan had sent a warm invitation to him to come and perform at Massachusetts, and the comedian replied, “I’m banned in the USA.”
When asked if he intended to leave the country, he said, “I am a citizen of the world. Except for Yankee where I’m banned.”
While revealing the reason behind his ban, he said, “Ill luck. Met a charity-like visa-issuing officer. Egos clashed. I was labeled.”
