Students of the Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin  have cried out over the poor state of the road that leads to their school.

THE INFORMANT247 noticed, yesterday, that the stretch between the school gate and the major Street junction has turned into a death trap.

A student who didn’t want his name mentioned, lamented that “the road which has been neglected by the state government for a very long while has now turned to  a a death trap as commercial cabs now prefer to stay at the main gate which is causing a lot of hardships on the students.”

While describing road as “the only major road that links to the school gate” the student, however, pleaded with the Abdulfatah Ahmed administration to effect repairs on the bad areas to ensure easy vehicular movement.

“The chassis and drive shafts of several vehicles have been destroyed in this place. This is particularly so with drivers, who are passing through there for the first time, which had led to most driver refusing to take students to the school gate,” said a student who simply identify himself as Ibrahim.
