Coach Kabiru Dogo resigns as Kwara United Technical Adviser

….As Tunde Sanni takes over as Interim Head

Coach Kabiru Dogo has resigned from his role as the Technical Adviser of Kwara United.

The Chairman of Kwara United in a club statement on Saturday said the gaffer turned in his resignation on Friday evening.

Coach Dogo, upon his resignation has however rejoined Nasarawa United as their Technical Adviser.

Kumbi Titiloye, Chairman of Kwara United expressed his support for Dogo’s decision, wishing him well at Nasarawa United.

Meanwhile , Kwara United have appointed Coach Tunde Sanni as the new Head Coach following the sudden departure of Kabiru Dogo.

Sanni, who was until his new appointment the Chief Coach will be leading the team on Interim Capacity. The club said in a statement that affirming it would annouce assistants for the interim Head Coach in due course.

Titiloye also stated that Dogo’s unexpected resignation has not discouraged the club, but it has instead motivated them to work harder and deliver strong performances.

Kwara United is set to face Niger Tornadoes in their first match of the new NPFL season next weekend at the Kwara State Stadium complex in Ilorin.
