Kwara United were once again forced to a goalless draw today in their NPFL match week eight with Remo Stars.

It was Coach Kabiru Dogo’s first game in charge of the team after he was appointed few days ago and the former Wikki Tourists FC gaffer seems to have got hold of the major problem of his new team.

Kwara United have won only one of their eight matches in the current season- lost three in the process and drew four with only two goals scored.

According to the quotes from the club’s media after the game at their adopted home ground of Lekan Salami Adamasingba Stadium, Coach  Dogo noted that the team played well but will have to improve on their performance.

“The boys gave good account of themselves, even though we would have loved to win this match, especially as we dominated play. We will try to improve on the areas we have identified as problems for the team, especially in the attack” he said.

With the result, Kwara United currently occupies 8th on the log of the ten-teams-tied Group A of the NPFL 2022/2023 abridged-league season with just six points.

The Harmony boys will face Elkanemi Warriors in their next game away from home in what is expected to be the last match of the first round.
