– Charges adherents to foster peace, love, togetherness
The President of National Association of Kwara State Students Comrade Jaji Adisa Abdulazeez, in a press release signed by his aide on Media and Publicity, Aliu, Ahmad Gold has congratulated the proponents of Christianity across the globe, charging them to replicate the Holy lifestyle of Jesus Christ by encouraging love, peace and togetherness.
The statement reads: “The world is structured on the basic concept of love, peace and harmony. The universe as big as it could be, is peopled by a body of human beings belonging to a particular ethnic group, race, caste, class, clan, community and religious belief. Part of these religious faiths is Christianity – a system of worship by some individuals who seek to live their lives according to the principles and values taught by Jesus Christ.
“And it’s another period of the year where Jesus Christ is being celebrated across the number of continents constituting the world by Christian faithful. This season means a lot to many and it is believed that the society needs the holiday spirit more than ever and each one of us is responsible for delivering the best message through our actions and also with our words.
“We congratulate and felicitate with Christian faithful across the world, especially NAKSSITES for this beautiful season, we hope that you enjoy the pleasure, surprises, love, peace and joy that it brings, because you all deserved the best.
“Please be reminded that unity shows and gives strength, but diversity reveals weaknesses. Resultantly, let’s endeavor to always tolerate ourselves, promote peaceful coexistence, foster love and togetherness and always show willingness to contribute our quotas to the development of our society and nation at large.
“And to our members traveling to different destinations to celebrate with their families and friends, we pray God to protect, guide and guard you as you embark on the trips through the roads, rails or even air. May the good times and treasures of the present become the golden memories of tomorrow.
We wish you Merry Xmas and Happy New Year in advance.” the NAKSS president added.
