Chelsea vs Tottenham fallouts: Tuchel, Conte charged for misconduct,to miss next games
Following the Premier League match between Chelsea FC and Tottenham Hotspur FC on Sunday 14 August 2022, both Thomas Tuchel and Antonio Conte have been charged with a breach of FA Rule E3.
The FA has now confirmed in a statement that the two have been charged for “improper behavior” at the end of the game.
In view of the development, the statement said that the gaffers have until Thursday, August 18, 2022, to submit their responses.
The EPL match day two encounter between both sides had ended in a 2-2 draw with a late strike from Harry Kane snatching a draw for the visitors at the Stamford bridge.
Consequently, Tuchel and Conte were handed red cards by Referee Anthony Taylor- a decision which means that they will have to watch their respective teams from the stand in their next fixtures.
Both managers had earlier seen yellow in the game after a bust-up in on sideline which arose from Conte celebration in front of his colleague.
