“It’s a way of mocking Nigeria” – Remo Omokri calls out DSTV for assigning Channel 419 to NTA The Informant247

Buhari stopped DSS from touching CBN Gov, Emefiele in Abuja — Reno Omokri

A sociopolitical commentator, Reno Omokri has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of preventing the Department of State Services, DSS, from manhandling the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele.

He said the DSS acted on the instruction of the president, as they could not manhandle the CBN chief at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

He said the president deserves kudos for enabling the prevalence of rule of law in the country.

The sociopolitical commentator sarcastically revealed that the president did well.

He tweeted: “There was a melee at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport today, when DSS officials tried to manhandle CBN Governor Emefiele.

“Though I am an ardent critic of the Buhari regime, I commend the Presidency for intervening and preserving the rule of law. Buhari did well!”

The Informant247 earlier reported that the Department of State Services (DSS), on Monday, dismissed the rumour that it invaded the office of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

The spokesperson of the DSS, Peter Afunanya, made this revelation in a statement.

He said the security agency did not arrest the Governor of CBN, Godwin Emefiele.
