Buhari reappoints Dabiri-Erewa as NiDCOM Chair amid evacuation of Nigerians from Sudan

The Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa has got her chance of reappointment sealed.

President Muhammadu Buhari has considered her worthy of reappointment as the chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).

This was confirmed as the Senate President Ahmad Lawan read the letter which originated from the president requesting the endorsement of the Senate to Dabiri-Erewa’s reappointment.

The Nigerian leader also requested the confirmation of the appointment of six federal Commissioners of the Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and Revenue Mobilisation Allocation to occupy the vacant seats in the states.

Those nominated by the president were Peter Okpara, Ayogu Eze, Rajiya Ayuba, Hauwa Aliyu, Ismaila Agaka and Kolawole Adebola.

The Informant247 understands that Abike Dabiri-Erewa is the chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) who has been working toward the successful evacuation of stranded Nigerians in Sudan.
