Buhari presents N819.5bn 2022 supplementary budget to Senate

The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday transmitted a 2022 supplementary Appropriation Bill of N819.5 billion to the Senate.

This is contained in a letter read on the floor by the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, the president explained that the amount is meant to complete ongoing capital projects which includes roads and dams destroyed by flooding.

He added that the sum would be sourced from additional domestic borrowings.
