President Muhammadu Buhari is set to host other African leaders to commission the new headquarters of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, at Lugbe, Abuja.
The president has planned to attend the 62nd summit of the organisation which will have in attendance Heads of State and Government.
It was gathered that the president of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo; president of Liberia, George Opong Wey and president of Senegal, Macky Sall were already in Nigeria to grace the occasion.
Other presidents who were already in the country were: Faure Gnassingbe of Togo, Patrice Talon of Benin Republic, Julius Maada Bio, Sierra Leone and Alassane Ouattara, Cote d Ivoire amongst others.
The Informant247 learned that the road connecting the Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport in the capital city were decorated with billboards having the photos of the visiting presidents.
The Informant247 also learned that President Buhari has recently handed over as the Chairman of the Lake Chad Basin Commission, LCBC, to the president of Chad, Deby Itno.
