President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the former president of the country, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan on his 65th birth anniversary, November 20, 2022.
The presidential media aide, Mr Femi Adesina, on behalf of the president, in a congratulatory message released on Saturday in Abuja, acknowledged the unique position of the former Nigerian leader in the development of the country.
He commended the former president for sacrificing personal interest for the common good of the people of the country, and how he was successful in winning the hearts of many countrymen and the globe as an ambassador of peace, by propagating the gospel accord and amity in many countries.
President Buhari has joined the family, especially the wife of the former president, Patience, and mother, Eunice, to celebrate another milestone in Jonathan’s life.
The President recalled the political journey of the former president, which he described, as one filled with mercies and grace of the Most High God, beginning from his tenure as deputy governor, 1999-2005, State governor, 2005 -2007, the country’s vice president, 2007-2010 and national president, 2010-2015.
He, has therefore, prayed for the former Commander in Chief’s well-being and that of his family.
