President Muhammadu Buhari has sent message of congratulation to Liz Truss on her choice as the new British Prime Minister.
The Nigerian president has on behalf of the citizens and Government of Nigeria, congratulated the new prime minister of the United Kingdom, UK.
The Nigerian leader has rejoiced with the former Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom, “whose antecedents in government, politics, and diplomacy will further shape and strengthen relations with Nigeria and other countries.”
The President restated that the ties the Britain share with Nigeria would remain strong, positive, and mutually beneficial.
This was revealed via a statement by one of the spokespersons of the president, Femi Adesina, on Tuesday.
Buhari, has sent message of appreciation to the immediate past Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, as he wishes him the best in his future engagement.
