President Muhammadu Buhari is currently in a meeting with some selected members of the Committee of Pro-Chancellors of the federal government owned universities.
The meeting which is holding at the State House, Abuja, the country capital may not be connected to the ceaseless industrial strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU on February 14.
Bashir Ahmed, who’s the Special Assistant to the President on Digital Communications, made this revelation in a post on his official social media handles.
Ahmed wrote, “President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with selected members of the Committee of Pro-Chancellors of the Federal Universities, at the State House, Abuja”.
The Informant247 observes that the Federal Government had, after several failed attempts to put an end to the industrial issues with the university lecturers, took the universities’ union to the National Industrial Court.
