Breaking: Senator Saliu Mustapha buys off match tickets for fans to watch Kwara United vs Nasarawa United game for free
In his continued bid to support sports development and complement the efforts of the Kwara State Government under Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq , the Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial district, Mallam Saliu Mustapha has bought off the match tickets for fans to watch the NPFL matchday 31 game between Kwara United and Nasarawa United for free.
The crucial match is scheduled to hold at Rashidi Yekini Main Bowl, George Innih Stadium Ilorin at 4pm on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
According to the Special Adviser on Sports development to the Senator, Mallam Abdurasheed Olanrewaju Rocky, the lawmaker’s decision to purchase the match tickets is deeply rooted in his commitment to support sports development and boost the state owned team in their efforts to achieve a strong finish on the league table.
“Senator Saliu Mustapha understands the significance of support from the fans,how crucial the match on Wednesday is and how the team lost 0-2 in their last game agsinst Akwa United , hence his decision to purchase the match tickets to afford all the fans the great opportunity to watch the game for free on Wednesday” he said.
He called on the fans to troop out en masse and support the team in the game,adding that match tickets will be available for pick up at the stadium from 2pm for free.
It will be recalled how Senator Mustapha, who is also the Turaki of Ilorin Emirate before his emergence as a Senator normally boost Kwara United team with cash rewards to enhance their performance during their NPFL and CAF Confederation Cup campaigns in 2022 and also buy match tickets for fans to galvanise support for the team
