BREAKING: Security operatives repel bandits’ attack on Share community in Kwara
Security operatives have successfully repelled an attempted attack by suspected bandits on Share, headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, easing fears of possible casualties and abductions.
The attack, which triggered tension in the community on Sunday evening, was said to have prompted swift response from security forces deployed to the area.
Confirming the development, the Chief Press Secretary to the state governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, said the Olupako of Share informed authorities that the assailants had been successfully pushed back.
“For now, there is no report of abduction or death in Share,” he stated, noting that security personnel remain on ground to forestall any further threat.
