Breaking: Kwara Assembly beefs up security ahead of plenary

•As court upholds Agboola’s victory

Security agencies on Wednesday beefed up security at the entrance of the Kwara State House of Assembly, ahead of resumption of plenary

The house is expected to inaugurate new members-elect of the Assembly.

Combined team of the Nigeria Police, DSS, NSCDC, in no fewer than 7 vans and fully armed are seen at the entrance of the assembly complex.

Recall that a Federal High Court sitting in Ilorin in March, again, upheld the victory of Raheem Agboola of the Peoples Democratic Party-PDP as the duly elected representative of Ilorin South state constituency.

However, as at time of filling this report, Agboola is currently being denied entrance into the chamber.
