Breaking: Appeal court affirms LP’s Okolie winner of reps seat in Delta, sacks PDP’s Ndudi Elumelu
The court of appeal, sitting in Abuja on Thursday, set aside the judgment of the national and state houses of assembly election tribunal in Asaba.
It would be recalled that the tribunal had declared Ndudi Elumelu, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as winner of the 2023 election for Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency, Delta state.
Meanwhile, in a judgment, the appellate court affirmed the candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Ngozi Okolie, as the duly elected lawmaker.
