Breach of contract: FIFA orders Vandrezzer to pay former Brazilian Coach N7 million

The world football governing body has sanctioned Nigeria National League (NNL) side, Vandrezzer FC for breach of contract with their former Head Coach, Rafael Everton.

Rafael, who joined the team after leaving Akwa United in 2019 left the club in 2021 alongside some of his Brazilian compatriots

Sequel to a suit filed by the former FC Ifeanyi Ubah Coach, the team has now been ordered by FIFA to pay N7,000,000 (seven million naira) as compensation to him plus 5%interest as from June 23, 2021 till the date of payment.

While the statement by FIFA directed the club to also pay a further outstanding amount plus 5% effective from June 23, 2021, the Lagos based side has been consequently barred from registering new players until the compensation is fully paid.

Vandrezzer FC is adjudged to be one of the most attractive club in Nigeria due to its Professional approach to media and marketing.
