A former Minister of Youth and Sports, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi on Saturday expressed sadness over the death of the Khalifatul-Adabiyah, Shaykh Ahmad Olayiwola Kamalud-deen.
The former Commissioner for Education and Permanent Secretary died on Friday at the age of 82.
A statement he personally signed, conveying his condolence, described the late cleric as a pathfinder, noting that the late Khalifa inspired the stride he recorded while holding sway as the education commissioner in the state.
Abdullahi however commiserated with the Kamalud-deen Al Adabiy’s family and the entire emirate community, and sue for peace and unity especially during this pandemic period.
He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive and admit him into Aljannatul Firdaus.
