Chibuzor Chinyere, General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), has donated a house and a car to the family of Deborah Samuel.
The Informant247 had reported that Deborah, a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto, was beaten, stoned and burnt to death by a mob over alleged blasphemy on May 12.
The killing has ever since then been met with continued condemnation from different quarters.
Also there have been protests in Sokoto by some youth, calling for the release of the suspects earlier arrested over the murder of the victim.
The pastor made the donations of the house and car, Tuesday, in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.
It was reported that the victim’s family members were flown in from Niger state to Rivers state.
As revealed by OPM, the money for the house and the car to be used for “Uber business” — were from the “tithes and offerings” of members of the church.
