Bandits occupy mosque, kill 15 peaceful worshippers in Zamfara
About 15 persons reportedly lost their lives as terrorists shot sporadically at worshipers on Friday.
The invasion took place during Jummat prayers in the North West of Zamfara State.
The Informant247 learnt that the invasion happened in Ruwan Jema town in Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara, as terrorists launched an attack on peaceful worshipers who were performing their prayers.
A source revealed that “The terrorists, who rode on motorcycles invaded the mosque and opened fire on worshippers, leading to the death of 15 persons on the spot, while many other victims sustained various degrees of injuries.”
This came following coming massive bombardment of some hideouts of the bandits by the Nigerian military in Zamfara State.
The police have not confirmed the said attack.
